Il pastificio Garofalo continua la sua avventura nel cinema e approda nel nuovo film di Woody Allen, To Rome with Love, prodotto da Gravier Productions e Medusa Film, nelle sale italiane a partire dal 20 aprile.
To Rome with Love è il racconto ambientato in Italia di una serie di personaggi, americani, italiani, residenti e turisti e delle avventure di cui sono protagonisti. Nel film Woody Allen, Alec Baldwin, Roberto Benigni, Penelope Cruz, Judy Davis, Jesse Eisenberg, Greta Gerwin ed Ellen Page.
“Da quando abbiamo prodotto il nostro primo cortometraggio nel 2008 il nostro legame con il cinema è certamente maturato e diventato ancor più forte ed essenziale per il nostro modo di fare comunicazione” ha dichiarato Emidio Mansi, Responsabile Commerciale Italia di Pasta Garofalo e ha aggiunto“Siamo davvero felici di aver potuto dare il nostro piccolo contributo all’ultima opera di un regista come Woody Allen e di arricchire ulteriormente la nostra presenza nel cinema italiano e internazionale”
Per i produttori, Garofalo è stata una scelta naturale“ per questo film, “Pasta Garofalo rappresenta al meglio la qualità italiana nel mondo del gusto. La passione e l’impegno dell’azienda per il mondo del cinema ne fanno senza alcun dubbio il partner ideale.” ha dichiarato David Nichols, uno dei co-produttori del film.
Con il progetto Garofalo firma il cinema, l’azienda si è impegnata in prima persona, firmando la produzione di cinque corti cinematografici, di cui due premiati con importanti riconoscimenti.

Garofalo has chosen to take the field, sided by Alitalia, by supporting a project of solidarity for the people affected by the earthquake / tsunami that took place on the 11th of March 2011 in Japan.
The pasta factory from Gragnano donated 10 tons of pasta - equivalent to about 10,000 meals - which will obviously be transported by Alitalia for the prefecture of Iwate, among the most affected from the terrible event.

The products were ideally delivered last week during a ceremony attended by Takeo Suzuki, Governor of Iwate Prefecture, and Vincenzo Petrone, Italian Ambassador in Japan.

The Pasta Factory Lucio Garofalo will be partner of the new exhibition of Mimmo Jodice at the Louvre in Paris. Garofalo, always close to the world of Art and Culture, has chosen to support the new exposure of the Neapolitan artist who will exhibit for the first time in the famous Parisian museum. Les yeux du Louvre, this is the name of the show, reinterprets the masterpieces in the museum through the faces of officials, employees and workers of the Louvre by juxtaposing photographs of famous painted portraits in the museum (from different periods) with those of Louvre employees.
The Child by Perugino, the fighter of Antonello da Messina, Baldassare Castiglione by Raphael, the Venetian by Veronese, the minor heroes of Delacroix, Ingres and Goya are on the same level of many operators in the Louvre: the general manager and a conservator, an official of the PR office and a decorator, a warden and a guardian.
The Pasta Garofalo once again, therefore, chooses to support an initiative linked to the world of Art and Culture, after being the first company in Italy which has produced a strategic plan of product placement in films and has produced short films by very well-known artists such as Edo Tagliavini, Pappi Corsicato, Valeria Golino and Terry Gilliam. In particular the work the eclectic British director will be presented in the next few weeks in Rome.
